The Slovak Tatras – Slovakia

Tour itinerary: option 1

  • 8.30 a.m. - departure from Zakopane (car park at Łukaszówki Street/Aleje 3 Maja)
  • Belianska Cave – the most beautiful Tatra cave (a 70-minute tour with a Polish guide)
  • Szczyrbskie Jezioro – the town at the highest elevation in the Slovak Tatras, placed at the second largest lake (1 hour)
  • The narrow-gauge railway ride to Stary Smokovec, the oldest Tatra spa (1.5 hour free time, mineral water tasting). Stary Smokovec is the only place in the Tatras which has mineral water springs.
  • For interested parties there is a round trip on a funicular onto Hrebienok (1285 m a.s.l.). One can see an ice church there in winter while in spring and summer it is worth visiting Cold Water Waterfalls. 
  • 6.00 p.m.- return to Zakopane

Price:

  • adults – 90 PLN,
  • young people, students, senior citizens – 85 PLN
  • children under 15 years- 75 PLN
  • + entry fees

 


The price includes:

  • transportation,
  • tour manager/guide,

Additional fees:

  • Belianska Cave: adults – 8 €, students, senior citizens – 7 € , children 6-15 years old – 4 €, children up to 5 years old – free of charge
  • The scenic train journey: adults 1.5 €, children 6-15 years old, senior citizens over 70 years old – 1 €.
  • The funicular ride onto Hrebienok (in free time): adults – 9 €, children 13-18 years old and students with EURO 26, ISIC cards, senior citizens over 60 years old – 8 €, children 7-12 years old - 6 €, children up to 6 years old – free of charge.

     

Tour itinerary: option 2

  • 8.30 a.m. - departure from Zakopane, ul. Oswalda Balzera 30 (the map of stopovers)
  • 10.00 a.m. - the tour of Belianska Cave
  • 1.00 p.m. - Szczyrbskie Pleso, a walk around the lake, free time
  • 3.00 p.m. - arrival in Stary Smokovec
  • 3.30 p.m. - a funicular ride onto Hrebienok and a visit to Cold Water Waterfalls
  • 5.30 p.m. - free time in Stary Smokovec
  • 6.00 p.m. departure for Zakopane
  • 7.30 p.m. estimated arrival in Zakopane

Price:

  • adults – 80 PLN
  • students – 75 PLN
  • children 3-10 years old – 60 PLN
  • children up to 3 years old – 40 PLN
  • 10% off regular price for the disabled with a valid disability ID,
  • 5% off regular price for Duża Rodzina card owners


The price includes:

  • Belianska Cave: adults – 8 €, students, senior citizens – 7 € , children 6-15 years old, the disabled over 15 years old – 4 €, children up to 6 years old – free of charge, taking pictures/video recording – 10 €
  • The funicular ride onto Hrebienok (in free time): adults – 11 €, children 13-18 years old and students with EURO 26, ISIC cards, senior citizens over 60 years old – 9 €, children 7-12 years old - 8 €, children up to 6 years old – free of charge.
     

ATTENTION: We remind participants to have a document confirming their identity, either a passport or an ID. This requirement applies to children as well. A school ID is not the document that confirms children's identity abroad.
The walk along a forest path to the cave takes about 20 minutes, its pace is adjusted to the participants' walking skills.
